At Momentum, our approach to privacy is simple and transparent. You are in control.
Anonymous Usage
If you use Momentum without creating an account, all of your data (weight entries, goals, preferences) is stored exclusively in your web browser’s local storage on your device. It is never transmitted to, or stored on, any external server. We have no access to it.
Account Holders
If you choose to create a free account to sync your data, your weight entries and goal information will be securely stored on our servers. This allows you to access your data from multiple devices. Your password is encrypted, and we will never share your data with third parties.
Momentum Coach AI Feature
When you request a review from the Momentum Coach, recent, non-identifiable progress data (like your weekly trend, goal type, and logging consistency) is sent to Google’s AI service to generate personalized feedback. This data is used only for that single request and is not stored or used for any other purpose.
Your Data Control
You can export a full backup of your data at any time from the settings. Deleting your account will permanently remove all associated data from our servers.
